เมื่อวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมการประชุมหัวหน้าส่วนราชการประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่และการประชุมคณะกรมการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ประจำเดือนตุลาคม 2569 ที่ศูนย์ราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยมีนายทศพล เผื่อนอุดม ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นประธาน และมีหัวหน้าส่วนราชการและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมเพื่อติดตามผลการดำเนินงานและขับเคลื่อนนโยบายสำคัญของจังหวัด

ผู้ว่าฯ ย้ำให้ทุกหน่วยงานเตรียมความพร้อมรับนักท่องเที่ยวจำนวนมากในช่วงฤดูกาลหลักที่กำลังจะมาถึงและประเพณียี่เป็งในเดือนหน้า โดยเฉพาะด้านการจราจร ความปลอดภัย และการอำนวยความสะดวก พร้อมกำชับให้ผู้จัดงานขออนุญาตจัดกิจกรรมอย่างถูกต้องตามกฎหมายเพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่น เนื่องจากภาคการท่องเที่ยวมีความสำคัญต่อเศรษฐกิจจังหวัด โดยเฉพาะการเผยแพร่อัตลักษณ์ล้านนา รวมถึงการสร้างรายได้ให้ชุมชนและผู้ประกอบการท้องถิ่น ทั้งยังย้ำเรื่องการป้องกันไฟป่า หมอกควัน และฝุ่น PM 2.5 โดยให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องวางแผนล่วงหน้า ควบคุมและลดการเผาตั้งแต่ต้นทาง และร่วมมือกับเกษตรกรและชุมชนในการป้องกันผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของประชาชน ตลอดจนเน้นความสำคัญของการลดอุบัติเหตุทางถนน โดยกำชับให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องดำเนินมาตรการความปลอดภัยอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเฉพาะรถนักเรียนและวินัยจราจร

ที่ประชุมยังติดตามสถานการณ์ด้านการเกษตร สาธารณภัยและมาตรการช่วยเหลือ การเตรียมการรับเสด็จฯ และพิธีถวายดอกไม้จันทน์ รวมถึงการเบิกจ่ายงบประมาณของจังหวัดและการใช้แพลตฟอร์ม Traffy Fondue เพื่อให้ประชาชนแจ้งปัญหาและสามารถติดตามการแก้ไขจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องได้

On 27 October 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, participated in the October 2026 Meeting of Chiefs of Offices in Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai Provincial Board at the Chiang Mai Civic Center. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Thosaphon Phuean-udom, Governor of Chiang Mai, and in attendance were chiefs of provincial offices and relevant agencies, to follow up past operations and further implement the province’s key policies.

The Governor reiterated that all agencies should be well-prepared for a large number of tourists visiting during the upcoming high season and the Yi Peng Festival (Lanna lights celebration) next month, especially in traffic management, safety and facilitation. He also urged organisers to file for permits and organise activities according to the law, since the tourism sector is significant for the province, particularly in promoting Lanna characters and generating income for communities and local entrepreneurs. The Governor further emphasised the prevention of forest fire, haze and PM 2.5 pollution by instructing relevant agencies to plan ahead, regulate and reduce crop burning from the source, as well as cooperate with farmers and communities to prevent impact on people’s health. He also underscored the reduction of road accidents by instructing relevant agencies to continuously implement safety measures, especially for student buses and traffic discipline.

The meeting also followed up on the agricultural situation, public hazards and assistance measures, royal visit preparation and sandalwood funeral flower presentation ceremony, as well as the province’s budget disbursement and the Traffy Fondue platform application for people to notify problematic issues and track troubleshooting by related agencies.
