เมื่อวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะกรรมการสนับสนุนมาตรการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนโดยการดึงดูดชาวต่างชาติที่มีศักยภาพสูงสู่ประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 1/2569 โดยมีนายเอกนิติ นิติทัณฑ์ประภาศ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง เป็นประธาน และมีผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมประชุม โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่ชาวต่างชาติและส่งเสริมผลประโยชน์ด้านเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ
รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุลได้ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับภารกิจด้านการตรวจลงตราของกระทรวงฯ คู่ควบกับการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะการตรวจลงตราประเภท Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) ที่เน้นสนับสนุนการท่องเที่ยวระยะยาวที่กำลังได้รับความนิยมจากชาวต่างชาติในช่วงปีที่ผ่านมาเป็นอย่างมาก ช่วยกระตุ้นการใช้จ่ายภายในประเทศได้เป็นอย่างดี
DDG of the Department of Consular Affairs attends the 1st Meeting of the Committee to Support Economic Stimulus and Investment Measures by attracting high-potential foreigners to Thailand
On 17 February 2026, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongjongcharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, participated in the meeting of the Committee to Support Economic Stimulus and Investment Measures by attracting high-Potential foreigners to Thailand. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and attended by representatives from relevant agencies, with the objective to facilitate foreign investors and enhance Thailand’s economic interests.
Deputy Director-General provided information about MFA’s mission on visa and economic promotion, particularly Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) which has supported long-term tourism and has been popular among foreigners in the past year. The DTV has also stimulated domestic spending very well.
