ระหว่างวันที่ 4-6 พฤศจิกายน 2568 อธิบดีกรมการกงสุลและคณะได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) ครั้งที่ 20 ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ องค์การการบินพลเรือนระหว่างประเทศ เมืองมอนทรีออล ประเทศแคนาดา ซึ่งเป็นการประชุมประจำปีและเป็นเวทีสำหรับรายงานความก้าวหน้าของเทคโนโลยีเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางระหว่างประเทศ โดยเนื้อหาของการประชุมดังกล่าวครอบคลุมประเด็นที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อภารกิจของกรมการกงสุลหลายด้าน โดยเฉพาะการพัฒนางานหนังสือเดินทางและมาตรการเข้าเมือง
นอกจากนี้ คณะฯ ได้เข้าร่วมรับฟังการหารือและนำเสนอการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ อาทิ เอกสารเดินทางดิจิทัล (Digital Travel Credential: DTC) / eMRTD Document Validation / และ ICAO Digital Travel Authorization (DTA) ซึ่งเกี่ยวกับการอำนวยความสะดวกการผ่านแดน

During 4-6 November 2025, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs and his delegation attended the 20th Symposium on the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) headquarters in Montreal, Canada. The annual symposium serves as a platform to update on technological advancements in international travel, covering a wide range of topics related to consular work, including the development of passports and immigration process.
Additionally, the delegation participated in discussions and presentations on latest development of technologies on Digital Travel Credential (DTC), eMRTD Document Validation, and ICAO Digital Travel Authorization (DTA).
