เมื่อวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2568 นางวรพรรณี ดำรงมณี รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะนักการทูตต่างชาติ จำนวน 16 คน จาก 16ประเทศ ได้แก่ บังกลาเทศ ภูฏาน บรูไนฯ จีน โคลัมเบีย อินเดีย อินโดนีเซีย เกาหลีใต้ โคโซโว มาเลเซีย เม็กซิโก เนปาล กาตาร์ ศรีลังกา ติมอร์-เลสเต และเวียดนาม ที่เดินทางมาอบรมที่ประเทศไทย ระหว่างวันที่ 25 – 30 สิงหาคม 2568 ในหลักสูตร “The 2025 Knowledge of Diplomacy (KOD) for Future – Ready Diplomats” จัดโดยสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการ
ในโอกาสนี้ เลขานุการกรม ผู้อำนวยการกองสัญชาติและนิติกรณ์ ผู้อำนวยการกองหนังสือเดินทาง ผู้แทนจากกองคุ้มครองและดูแลผลประโยชน์คนไทยในต่างประเทศ และกองตรวจลงตราและเอกสารเดินทางคนต่างด้าว ได้ร่วมกันบรรยายสรุปภาพรวมงานบริการของกรมการกงสุล โดยเน้นย้ำในการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและนวัตกรรมเพื่อนำมาใช้สำหรับการให้บริการกงสุล หลักสูตรการอบรมนี้มีส่วนสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตที่ดีระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศผู้เข้าร่วม อีกทั้งยังช่วยเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกันและการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านงานกงสุลระหว่างนักการทูตจากหลากหลายประเทศ

On 29 August 2025, Mrs. Worapannee Damrongmanee, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, welcomed a delegation of 16 foreign diplomats from 16 countries, namely Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Kosovo, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, and Viet Nam, who participated in the “The 2025 Knowledge of Diplomacy (KOD) for Future – Ready Diplomats” course held in Thailand during 25 – 30 August 2025. The course was organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA).
On this occasion, Secretary of the Department, Director of Legalization Division, Director of Passport Division, and representatives from Protection of Thai Nationals Abroad Division, and Visa and Travel Documents Division, briefed the delegation on the overview and developments of the department’s recent consular services, highlighting the application of digital technologies and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of consular services. Thisdiplomatic training course indeed contributes to strengthening cordial diplomatic relations betweenThailand and participating countries and enhancesmutual understanding and knowledge exchange in consular affairs among diplomats from severalcountries.
