เมื่อวันที่ 28 ก.ย. 68 นายสรยุทธ ชาสมบัติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอาบูดาบีและนายมังกร ประทุมแก้ว อธิบดีกรมการกงสุลได้ร่วมพบปะเครือข่ายชุมชนไทยในยูเออีที่สถานเอกอัครราขทูตฯ โดยได้รับทราบข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการใช้ชีวิตและการทำงานของคนไทยในยูเออี พร้อมทั้งได้รับฟังปัญหาและข้อจำกัดที่พบ โดยอธิบดีกรมการกงสุลได้ให้คำแนะนำที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่คนไทยที่พำนักและทำงานอยู่ในยูเออี
ในระหว่างวันที่ 30 ก.ย. - 1 ต.ค. 68 นางสาวนิภา นิรันดร์นุต กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองดูไบ นำอธิบดีกรมการกงสุลและคณะเดินทางไปเยี่ยมพนักงานชาวไทยที่ทำงานอยู่ที่โรงแรม Centara Mirage Beach Resort และบริษัทผลิตกระป๋อง Crown Emirates ในเมืองดูไบ และร้านนวดแผนไทย Thai Rose Massage Center ในเมือง Sharjah เพื่อรับฟังเกี่ยวกับสภาพการทำงานและสิทธิประโยชน์ที่ได้รับตามกฎหมายแรงงานของยูเออี โดยอธิบดีกรมการกงสุลแนะนำให้คนไทยเตรียมเอกสารสำคัญประจำตัวให้เป็นปัจจุบัน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมกรณีความจำเป็นเร่งด่วนฉุกเฉิน

Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs Visits Thai Communities in the UAE
On 28 September 2025, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE together with Mr. Mungkorn Pratoomkaew, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, met with representatives of Thai communities in the UAE at the Royal Thai Embassy, in order to learn about their daily lives and work in the UAE as well as challenges and concerns. At this event , the Director-General provided useful information to Thai nationals residing and working in the UAE.
During 30 September - 1 October 2025, Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai, led Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs and his delegation to visit Thai employees at Centara Mirage Beach Resort and the Crown Emirates can manufacturing company in Dubai, and the Thai Rose Massage Center in Sharjah, in order to learn about their working conditions, rights and benefits under UAE labor laws.
Director-General Mungkorn also recommended Thai nationals to keep their identification documents up-to-date for preparedness in case of urgent needs.
