เมื่อวันที่ 21 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เยี่ยมคารวะนาง Kelia Cummins กงสุลใหญ่สหรัฐฯ ประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ โดยมีนาย Patrick Neeley หัวหน้าแผนกกงสุล และเจ้าหน้าที่แผนกกงสุลเข้าร่วมด้วย

หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ ได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นจากกงสุลใหญ่สหรัฐฯ ขณะที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายย้ำความพร้อมที่จะร่วมงานกันในงานด้านกงสุลโดยยึดผลประโยชน์ของคนชาติตน โดยเฉพาะในด้านรับรองเอกสารและนิติกรณ์ หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ ชื่นชมกงสุลใหญ่สหรัฐฯ ในการจัดกิจกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดปีและการประสานงานกับหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น ทั้งยังหวังจะเป็นอีกหนึ่งจุดเชื่อมต่อสำคัญระหว่างหน่วยงานไทยกับสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย - สหรัฐฯ อย่างเต็มที่

On 21 August 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, had a courtesy call on Ms. Kelia Cummins, U.S. Consul General in Chiang Mai, for introduction upon her assumption of duty. Also in attendance were Mr. Patrick Neeley, Consular Chief, and a consular officer.

The Chief of Passport Office was warmly welcomed by the U.S. Consul General, while both sides underscored their readiness to cooperate in consular work with the benefits of their own citizens at heart, especially in document certification and legalisation matters. The Chief of Passport Office admired the U.S. Consul General’s work in her remarkable series of events throughout the year and great engagement with local agencies. She also hopes to become another important link between Thai authorities and the Consulate General in promoting Thailand - U.S. relations at large.
