เมื่อวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมการเสวนาแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเพื่อการสร้างต้นแบบพิมพ์เขียวย่านที่เป็นมิตรผู้ทำงานระยะไกล (Nomad Friendly District) ที่อาคารอนุสารสันป่าข่อย โดยมีนางสาวอริสา นิมมานเหมินท์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท อนุสาร จำกัด นำการหารือ และมีผู้แทนจากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (TCEB) สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และทีมโครงการ Cosmo Local CNX ย่านสันป่าข่อย - วัดเกตร่วมหารือ

ทีมโครงการ Cosmo Local CNX เล่าถึงการจัดเก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่ม digital nomads ที่อาศัยอยู่ในเชียงใหม่อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อรับทราบแนวทางการใช้ชีวิต การจับจ่ายใช้สอย ความสนใจในการมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน และความท้าทายที่แต่ละคนพบเจอ จากนั้น ที่ประชุมหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางในการเชิญกลุ่ม digital nomads เข้ามามีบทบาทในการพัฒนาชุมชนและจังหวัดมากขึ้น โดยสร้างแรงจูงใจให้สามารถพำนักได้นานขึ้นและหาช่องทางประชาสัมพันธ์ให้ครอบคลุมกว้างขึ้นเพื่อชักชวนกลุ่มคนที่มีความสามารถ กำลังซื้อ และความเชี่ยวชาญที่หลากหลายเหล่านี้ให้เลือกเชียงใหม่เป็นจุดหมายปลายทางในการพำนักระยะยาวเพิ่มขึ้นอีก ตลอดจนหารือความเป็นไปได้ที่จะจัดตั้งองค์กร digital nomad ระดับชาติเพื่อสร้างและนำฐานข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับคนกลุ่มนี้มาใช้ประกอบความพยายามในการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นและประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน

On 21 September 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, participated in a discussion to exchange views on building a blueprint for a Nomad Friendly District at Anusarn San Pa Khoi Building. Ms. Arisa Nimmanahaeminda, Managing Director of Anusarn Co., Ltd., led the discussion, while also in attendance were representatives from Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Chiang Mai Immigration Office, and Cosmo Local CNX San Pa Khoi - Wat Ket District team.

The Cosmo Local CNX team briefed the meeting on how the team have continuously collected data from digital nomads residing in Chiang Mai to learn about their lifestyles, spending, interests in community engagement, and challenges each of them has faced. The meeting later discussed ways to invite digital nomads to play more roles in community and province development. This could be done by offering incentives for them to stay longer, as well as publicise to a wider audience and invite more of those with capabilities, purchasing power, and diverse skills to choose Chiang Mai as their long-term resident destination. The meeting also discussed a possibility to establish a national digital nomad organisation to create and utilise a database on this group in efforts towards sustainable local and country development.
