เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 20 มีนาคม 2569 นายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล เป็นประธานการประชุมเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุมหารือด้านการกงสุล ญี่ปุ่น - ไทย ครั้งที่ 4 ที่ฝ่ายญี่ปุ่นจะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดขึ้นที่กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ที่ห้องประชุมกรมการกงสุล โดยมี ผู้แทนหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งภายในและภายนอกกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเข้าร่วม ได้แก่ กรมเอเชียตะวันออก สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน กระทรวงแรงงาน กระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา กองบัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยว การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย
ที่ประชุมหารือในประเด็นต่าง ๆ อาทิ การดูแลคนชาติ มาตรการตรวจลงตรา มาตรการส่งเสริมการลงทุนของนักลงทุนญี่ปุ่นในไทย และการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านแรงงาน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการพัฒนาทักษะด้านภาษาญี่ปุ่นของแรงงานไทย เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมเข้าทำงานในระบบการจ้างงานเพื่อการพัฒนาทักษะของญี่ปุ่นซึ่งจะเริ่มบังคับใช้ในเดือนเมษายน 2570
The Department of Consular Affairs prepares to hold the 4th Japan-Thailand Consular Consultations
On 20 March 2026, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, chaired a preparatory meeting for the 4th Japan - Thailand Consular Consultations, which will be held by the Japanese side in Tokyo, Japan.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other agencies, including Department of East Asian Affairs, the Royal Thai Police, the Immigration Bureau, the Office of the Board of Investment, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourist Police Bureau, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The meeting discussed various issues, including the protection of their own nationals, visa measures, measures to promote Japanese investment in Thailand, labour cooperation, particularly the development of Japanese language skills among Thai workers in preparation for Japan’s Employment for Skill Development (ESD) programme, which will be effective in April 2027.
