เมื่อวันที่ 17 ตุลาคม 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ ร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน “Lanna Wellness and Adventure Tourism Showcase” ครั้งที่ 2 ภายใต้โครงการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพของกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน 1 (เชียงใหม่ ลำพูน ลำปาง และแม่ฮ่องสอน) ที่เชียงใหม่ฮอลล์ ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล เชียงใหม่ แอร์พอร์ต โดยมีนายทศพล เผื่อนอุดม ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นประธาน นายอิทธิรัฐ สินารักษ์ ท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กล่าวรายงาน วัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดงาน และมีหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผู้แทนหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจท่องเที่ยว และสื่อมวลชน เข้าร่วม

ผู้ว่าฯ กล่าวว่า จังหวัดเชียงใหม่เป็นเมืองที่ร่ำรวยทางวัฒนธรรมและพร้อมต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวในทุกรูปแบบ โดยการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพและผจญภัยที่ทุกคนเห็นในวันนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมมากมายที่จังหวัดมีศักยภาพในการนำเสนอ จึงขอเชิญชวนให้นักท่องเที่ยวมาสัมผัสเสน่ห์ล้านนาด้วยตนเอง โดยเฉพาะในช่วงที่มีมวลอากาศเย็นจะเริ่มพัดผ่านมาตั้งแต่เดือนนี้ อีกทั้งล่าสุด เชียงใหม่ยังได้รับผลการลงคะแนนว่า เป็นเมืองที่มีความปลอดภัยที่สุดในอาเซียนเป็นปีที่สองด้วย จังหวัดมีรายได้จากภาคการท่องเที่ยวปีละกว่า 2 แสนล้านบาท และหวังจะต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งไทยและต่างชาติรวมกว่า 12 ล้านคนในปีนี้ ขณะที่ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติเชียงใหม่มีศักยภาพรับผู้เดินทางได้วันละประมาณ 20,000 คน

สำนักงานการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่บูรณาการความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานจากทุกภาคส่วนในกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน 1 จัดงานนี้ขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 16 - 18 ตุลาคม 2569 เพื่อดึงเสน่ห์ล้านนา ทั้งศิลปวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นที่มีเอกลักษณ์โดดเด่น มาเชื่อมโยงและยกระดับศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพและผจญภัยของจังหวัด เพื่อยกระดับสินค้าและบริการให้ตอบสนองความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวได้อย่างครอบคลุม รวมถึงกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน

On 17 October 2026, Ms. Napamas Panaytrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd “Lanna Wellness and Adventure Tourism Showcase” under the wellness tourism project of the upper part of norther provinces group 1 (Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang and Mae Hong Son) at Chiang Mai Hall, Central Chiangmai Airport. The event was presided over by Mr. Thosaphon Phuean-udom, Governor of Chiang Mai province, while while Mr. Itthirat Sinarak, Director of the Chiang Mai Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, briefed a report on the project’s objectives. In attendance were Chiefs of provincial offices, representatives from the public and private sectors, tourism entrepreneurs and members of the press.

The Governor underscored that Chiang Mai is the province packed with cultures and ready to welcome tourists in every format. The wellness and adventure tourism witnessed today is part of a number of activities the province has capacity to offer. He invited tourists to experience Lanna charms firsthand, especially during the period that cool air mass will start to sweep through from this month. To date, Chiang Mai just obatined a voting result to be the safest city in ASEAN for the second year. The province receives an annual income of more than 2,000 billion baht (60 billion USD) from the tourism sector and hopes to welcome more than 12 million tourists, both Thais and foreigners, this year. The International Chiang Mai Airport has a capacity to receive approximately 20,000 visitors a day.

The Chiang Mai Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports has joined forces with agencies from all sectors in the upper part of norther provinces group 1 to organise this event during 16 - 18 October 2026. The objective is to bring out Lanna charms, including arts, cultures, traditions and local wisdom that have distinguished characters, to connect and enhance the province’s capability of wellness and adventure tourism. This is also aimed to elevate local products and services to comprehensively respond to the demands of tourists, and sustainably stimulate the community economy.
