เมื่อวันที่ 16 ตุลาคม 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ ร่วมต้อนรับคณะกรรมาธิการต่างประเทศ วุฒิสภา ลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมชมศิลปวัฒนธรรมและศึกษาศักยภาพล้านนาในงาน LANNA EXPO 2026 ที่ศูนย์ประชุมและแสดงสินค้านานาชาติจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยมีนายบุญลือ ธรรมธรานุรักษ์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ นำหัวหน้าส่วนราชการและผู้แทนหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องร่วมให้ข้อมูล

คณะกรรมาธิการการต่างประเทศ วุฒิสภา นำโดยนายชวภณ วัธนเวคิน รองประธานคณะกรรมาธิการ คนที่หนึ่ง ในฐานะหัวหน้าคณะ พร้อมด้วยนายโสภณ มะโนมะยา รองประธานคณะกรรมาธิการ คนที่สอง และนางจุฑารัตน์ นิลเปรม รองประธานคณะกรรมาธิการ คนที่สาม เยี่ยมชมกิจกรรมและนิทรรศการภายในงาน พร้อมรับฟังข้อมูลจากหน่วยงานและผู้ประกอบการเกี่ยวกับศิลปวัฒนธรรม ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น สินค้าและบริการที่สะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ของล้านนา รวมถึงศักยภาพทางเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวของพื้นที่ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและหวังจะนำข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องไปประกอบการพิจารณาภารกิจด้านการต่างประเทศของวุฒิสภาต่อไป

On 16 October 2026, Ms. Napamas Panaytrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, joined in welcoming a delegation of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, who visited the LANNA EXPO 2026 to learn more about local arts and cultures and Lanna potentials at Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Mr. Boonlue Thamtharanurak, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai, led Chiefs of provincial offices and representatives of relevant agencies to provide information.

The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs delgation was led by Mr. Chavaphon Wattanavekin, First Vice Chairman, as the head of the delegation, together with Mr. Sopon Manomaya, Second Vice Chairman, and Mrs. Chutharat Nilprem, Third Vice chairman. They visited the exhibition and activities around the venue, and were briefed by agencies and entrepreneurs on local arts, cultures, wisdom, products, services, as well as economic and tourism potentials of the areas. They also exchanged views and hope to bring relevant information to help them determine foreign affairs missions of the Committee.
