เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เยี่ยมคารวะนาย Harada Masaru กงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่นประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่

หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ ได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นจากกงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น ขณะที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายย้ำความพร้อมที่จะร่วมกันส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย - ญี่ปุ่นในด้านที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อประชาชนของแต่ละประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในโอกาสครบรอบ 140 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างสองประเทศในปีหน้า (2570) หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ ชื่นชมกงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่นที่มีความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นกับทุกภาคส่วนในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่และการจัดกิจกรรมแนะนำวัฒนธรรม สินค้า ภาคธุรกิจ การลงทุน ประชาชน และประเทศญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงการเสนอมอบความช่วยเหลือในด้านที่ญี่ปุ่นมีศักยภาพสูง ทั้งด้านการจัดการภัยพิบัติ สาธารณสุข และสิ่งแวดล้อมให้แก่ไทยอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งยังหวังจะเป็นอีกหนึ่งจุดเชื่อมต่อสำคัญระหว่างหน่วยงานไทยกับสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับญี่ปุ่นอย่างเต็มที่

On 9 September 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, had a courtesy call on Mr. Harada Masaru, Consul General of Japan in Chiang Mai, as an introductory call upon her assumption of duty.

The Chief of Passport Office was warmly welcomed by the Consul General of Japan, while both sides underscored their readiness to jointly promote Thailand - Japan relations in areas beneficial to the people of each country, especially during the upcoming 140th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year (2027). The Chief of Passport Office admired the Consul General’s work for his close engagement with all local sectors across the province and continual activities introducing Japanese cultures, products, businesses, investment, people and the country, as well as assistance offers to Thailand in areas that Japan has high capacity, including disaster management, public health and environment. She also hopes to become another important link between Thai authorities and the Consulate General in promoting Thailand - Japan relations at large.
