เมื่อวันที่ 30 มกราคม 2569 นายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล พร้อมด้วยนายสัณห์ อรุณรักษ์ติชัย ผู้อำนวยการกองตรวจลงตราและเอกสารเดินทางคนต่างด้าว เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะอนุกรรมการแก้ไขปัญหาและอุปสรรคด้านวีซ่าและใบอนุญาตทำงาน ครั้งที่ 1/2569 ณ อาคารสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) โดยมีนายนฤตม์ เทอดสถีรศักดิ์ เลขาธิการ BOI เป็นประธานการประชุม
ที่ประชุมพิจารณาประเด็นต่าง ๆ รวมถึงการอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการตรวจลงตราของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ซึ่งผู้แทนกรมการกงสุลได้เน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการตรวจลงตราอย่างรอบคอบ โดยคำนึงถึงมิติด้านความมั่นคงของประเทศควบคู่กับผลประโยชน์ทางเศรษฐกิจ
ที่ประชุมได้พิจารณาความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดบริการเคลื่อนที่ (Mobile Service) ของสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่นักธุรกิจและนักลงทุนต่างชาติในไทยตามนโยบาย Ease of Doing Business ของรัฐบาล

DDG of the Department of Consular Affairs attends a meeting with Secretary-General of the BOI to develop Visa for highly skilled foreigners
On 30 January 2026, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, together with Mr. Sunh Arunrugstichai, Director of the Visas and Travel Documents Division, attended the 1st Subcommittee Meeting in 2026 for Resolving Issues and Obstacles Related to Visas and Work Permits, chaired by Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary-General of the BOI.
The meeting addressed various issues, including visa facilitation measures by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this regard, the representative of the Department of Consular Affairs underscored the importance of a comprehensive and balanced approach to visa consideration, taking into account both national security and economic benefits.
