เมื่อวันที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมการประชุมหัวหน้าส่วนราชการประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่และการประชุมคณะกรมการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ครั้งที่ 8/2569 ที่ศูนย์ราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยมีนายรัฐพล นราดิศร ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นประธาน และมีรองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดฯ นายอำเภอ หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ และผู้แทนหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ในจังหวัดเข้าร่วม

ที่ประชุมติดตามผลการดำเนินงานและพิจารณาวาระสำคัญของจังหวัด ทั้งการขอจัดตั้งหมู่บ้านใหม่ 8 หมู่บ้าน จาก 4 อำเภอ การขับเคลื่อนนโยบายสำคัญของจังหวัด กิจกรรมด้านการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา สถานการณ์ด้านการเกษตรและราคาสินค้าเกษตร สถานการณ์สาธารณภัย ตลอดจนการเบิกจ่ายงบประมาณ ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2569

ที่ประชุมเน้นการเตรียมพร้อมรับมือสถานการณ์สาธารณภัย ซึ่งผู้ว่าราชการฯ กำชับให้ทุกหน่วยงาน ติดตามสถานการณ์ฝนและน้ำอย่างใกล้ชิด เนื่องจากมีประกาศแจ้งเตือนว่า ช่วงวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม - 2 กันยายน 2569 จังหวัดเชียงใหม่อาจมีฝนตกหนักและเสี่ยงเกิดน้ำป่าไหลหลาก น้ำท่วมฉับพลัน และดินสไลด์ ทั้งยังย้ำให้เพิ่มความถี่ในการติดตามสถานการณ์และการแจ้งเตือนประชาชน ขณะที่ในส่วนของการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด ผู้ว่าราชการฯ กำชับให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเพิ่มความเข้มงวดในการเฝ้าระวัง ติดตามพฤติการณ์ของกลุ่มเสี่ยง กำหนดแนวทางป้องกัน ตรวจสอบมาตรฐานการรับ - ส่งพัสดุ รวมถึงสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเพื่อลดผลกระทบต่อประชาชนในพื้นที่

On 28 August 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, participated in the 8/2569 Chiefs of Offices in Chiang Mai Meeting and Provincial Board Meeting at Chiang Mai Civic Center. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Rattanaphon Naradisorn, Governor of Chiang Mai, and attended by deputy governors, district chiefs and representatives of provincial agencies.

The meeting followed up on the province’s various implementation and discussed important agendas, including the establishment proposal of 8 villages from 4 districts, significant policy implementation, tourism and sports activities, agriculture situation and product prices, disaster circumstances, as well as budget disbursement of the 2026 budget year.

The meeting focused on the preparation for catastrophic situations. The Governor reiterated for all agencies to closely monitor rainfall and water levels since there was a warning that during 29 August - 2 September 2026, there may be heavy rainfall and risks of fast-flowing streams, flash floods and landslides in Chiang Mai. He also emphasised that the situation monitoring and warning systems should be more frequent. For the prevention and combating narcotics, the Governor urged relevant authorities to be more alert and strict in monitoring behaviours of risk groups, determining preventive guidelines, examining parcel standard procedures, as well as promoting correct understanding to relieve impact on people in affected areas.
