เมื่อวันที่ 23 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมการหารือระหว่างนายรัฐพล นราดิศร ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กับนายเฉิน ไห่ผิง กงสุลใหญ่แห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ประจำเชียงใหม่ ที่เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะในโอกาสพ้นจากหน้าที่ ที่ศาลากลางจังหวัดฯ โดยมีหัวหน้าส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องและรองกงสุลใหญ่จีนฯ เข้าร่วมด้วย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายทบทวนความร่วมมือระหว่างจังหวัดเชียงใหม่และกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือกับจีน โดยกงสุลใหญ่จีนฯ ขอบคุณสำหรับความสัมพันธ์อันดีและการทำงานร่วมกันอย่างใกล้ชิด ผ่านการขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือตามฉันทามติของผู้นำทั้งสองประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งด้านการท่องเที่ยว การศึกษา ความสัมพันธ์เมืองพี่เมืองน้อง การเกษตร ระบบโลจิสติกส์ เศรษฐกิจยุคใหม่และเทคโนโลยี ทั้ง AI พลังงานสีเขียว และยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า ตลอดจนความร่วมมือ 3 ประเทศ (ไทย - จีน - เมียนมา) ในการปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติตามแนวชายแดนและการแก้ไขปัญหาหมอกควันข้ามแดนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ขณะที่ผู้ว่าฯ ขอบคุณสถานกงสุลใหญ่จีนฯ ที่เป็นสะพานเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมืออย่างรอบด้านระหว่างสองประเทศ โดยเฉพาะความสัมพันธ์ในระดับประชาชน พร้อมย้ำว่า มิตรภาพระหว่างภาคเหนือของไทยกับจีนในระดับพื้นที่จะเพิ่มพูนความมั่นคง มั่งคั่ง ยั่งยืน และแน่นแฟ้นต่อไป

On 23 September 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, participated in a discussion between Mr. Rattanaphon Naradisorn, Governor of Chiang Mai, and Mr. Chen Haiping, Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, at the Provincial Hall. Also in attendance were relevant chiefs of provincial agencies and the Deputy Consul-General of China.

Both sides revisited ongoing cooperation between Chiang Mai and northern provinces with China. The Chinese Consul-General expressed appreciation for cordial relations and close cooperation by continuously advancing joint commitments between the two leaders. Areas of cooperation include tourism, education, sister cities, agriculture, logistics system, modern economy and technology, including AI, green energy and EVs, as well as the trilateral Thailand - Myanmar - China cooperation in constructively combating transnational crime along the borders and addressing transboundary haze pollution. The Governor expressed gratitude for the Consulate-General of China in bridging comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially people-to-people relations. He also reaffirmed that the northern Thailand - China friendship in the local level will continue to be enhanced securely, prosperously, sustainably and firmly onwards.
