เมื่อวันที่ 25 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวนภามาศ ปัญญาตรง หัวหน้าสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ เชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมงาน “ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวประเพณีท้องถิ่นวิถีชาติพันธุ์ล้านนา” ครั้งที่ 4 ซึ่งจัดโดยสำนักงานการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ พร้อมด้วยความร่วมมือจากเครือข่ายท่องเที่ยวชุมชนและกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ในพื้นที่กลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน 1 (เชียงใหม่ ลำพูน ลำปาง และแม่ฮ่องสอน) บริเวณพระบรมราชานุสาวรีย์สามกษัตริย์ อำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่

นายบุญลือ ธรรมธรานุรักษ์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด นายอิทธิรัฐ สินารักษ์ ท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กล่าวรายงานการจัดกิจกรรม และหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผู้บริหารภาคเอกชน ผู้แทนองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น สมาคมการท่องเที่ยว และสื่อมวลชนเข้าร่วม โดยงานในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อแสดงศักยภาพของอัตลักษณ์และเสน่ห์ทางวัฒนธรรมชาติพันธุ์ล้านนาของ 7 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ปกาเกอะญอ (กะเหรี่ยง) ลัวะ ไทลื้อ ไทยวน ดาราอาง ไทใหญ่ และไทเขิน มุ่งสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น หัตถกรรม เครื่องแต่งกายดั้งเดิม ดนตรีชนเผ่า ผลิตภัณฑ์เชิงสร้างสรรค์ และอาหารพื้นถิ่น ขยายช่องทางการตลาด รวมถึงเสริมสร้างอาชีพและกระจายรายได้สู่ชุมชนฐานราก ตลอดจนเป็นเวทีให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็น เรียนรู้ และสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และชุมชน เพื่อต่อยอดการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจชุมชนให้เติบโตอย่างเข้มแข็งและยั่งยืน

ภายในงานมีการออกบูธของชุมชนจำหน่ายสินค้าหัตถกรรมและอาหาร การเสวนากี่ยวกับบทบาทของชาติพันธุ์ การแสดงดนตรี แฟชั่นโชว์ และการประกวดภาพถ่าย โดยจัดระหว่างวันที่ 25 - 27 กรกฎาคม 2569 บริเวณพระบรมราชานุสาวรีย์สามกษัตริย์

On 25 July 2026, Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Chief of Chiang Mai Passport Office, participated in the 4th “Promoting of local tradition tourism through Lanna ethnic lifestyles” event organised by the Chiang Mai Provincial Tourism and Sports Office, with cooperatiom from community tourism networks and local ethnic groups in northern provinces group 1 (Chiang Mai, Lampoon, Lampang and Mae Hong Son), at the Three Kings Monument, Meung Chiang Mai District.

Mr. Boonlue Thamtharanurak, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai, presided over the opening ceremony, while Mr. Ittirat Sinarak, Director of the Chiang Mai Provincial Tourism and Sports Office, gave an activity report. Also in attendance were chiefs of provincial offices, business executives, reprentatives of local administrative organisations, tourism associations and members of the press. This event is organised to display potentials of cultural identities and charms of 7 Lanna ethnic groups, namely, Pakakeryor (Karen), Lua, Tai Lue, Tai Yuan, Dara-ang ,Tai Yai and Tai Khuen. It is aimed to add value to local heritage, handicrafts, traditional costumes, indigenous music, creative products and loval cuisines, as well as to enhance market access, professional development and income distribution to grassroots communities. The event also provides an opportunity for participants to exchange views, raise awareness and establish cooperation networks between the public sector, businesses and the communities, which will advance cultural tourism and boost community economy to grow securely and sustainably.

At the event, organised from 25 - 27 July 2026 at the Three Kings Monument, there are booths from the communities offering handicrafts and local food, seminars discussing roles of ethnic groups, live music, fashion shows and a photography competition.
