เมื่อวันที่ 1 - 2 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวอุทุมพร อำไพวิทย์ อัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไคโร ปฏิบัติราชการทางกรมการกงสุล และคณะ เข้าพบ Ms. Martine Veldeman, Director of the Personal Rights Department และทีมงานด้านนิติกรณ์เอกสาร ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งราชอาณาจักรเบลเยียม เพื่อหารือแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลในประเด็นภาพรวมและแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศเกี่ยวกับระบบการนิติกรณ์เอกสารของราชอาณาจักรเบลเยียม รวมถึงการนิติกรณ์รูปแบบ Apostille ในโอกาสที่ไทยได้ยื่นภาคยานุวัติสารเข้าเป็นภาคีอนุสัญญา Apostille เมื่อวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2569 และอยู่ระหว่างการเตรียมความพร้อมในทางปฏิบัติภายใต้พันธกรณีของอนุสัญญาฯ

ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ คณะผู้แทนกรมการกงสุลได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนางกาญจนา ภัทรโชค เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบรัสเซลส์ และเยี่ยมชมฝ่ายกงสุลของสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบรัสเซลส์ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลด้านกงสุลและการเข้าเป็นภาคีอนุสัญญา Apostille ของไทย เพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนภารกิจด้านกงสุลของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ต่อไป

On 1–2 July 2026, Ms. Utoomporn Ampaivit, Minister attached to Department of Consular Affairs, together with her delegation, met with Ms. Martine Veldeman, Director of the Personal Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium to discuss and exchange views on an overview of Belgium’s legalization system and its best practices, particularly the implementation of the Apostille. The visit took place following Thailand’s deposit of its Instrument of Accession to the Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, while Thailand is preparing for the practical implementation to be aligned the obligations under the Convention.

On this occasion, the delegation also paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, and visited the Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels. They exchanged views on consular matters and the implementation of the Apostille Convention, in order to strengthen and support the Embassy’s work on the said matters.
