เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 23 มิถุนายน 2569 นายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล เป็นประธานการประชุมเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุมหารือด้านการกงสุล อิสราเอล – ไทย ครั้งที่ 1 ที่ฝ่ายอิสราเอลจะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดขึ้นที่นครเยรูซาเล็ม รัฐอิสราเอล ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ถนนศรีอยุธยา โดยมีผู้แทนหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งภายในและภายนอกกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเข้าร่วม ได้แก่ กรมเอเชียใต้ ตะวันออกกลางและแอฟริกา สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ สำนักข่าวกรองแห่งชาติ กระทรวงแรงงาน กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง กองบัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยว สำนักงานคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติด กรมการปกครอง กรมศุลกากร และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย

ที่ประชุมหารือในประเด็นต่าง ๆ อาทิ การคุ้มครองและดูแลสิทธิประโยชน์แก่แรงงานไทยในอิสราเอล การส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีด้านการกงสุลอย่างครอบคลุมและอำนวยความสะดวกการแลกเปลี่ยนระดับประชาชนของทั้งสองฝ่าย

The Department of Consular Affairs hosts the preparatory meeting for the 1st Israel - Thailand Consular Dialogue

On 23 June 2026, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, chaired a preparatory meeting for the 1st Israel - Thailand Consular Dialogue, which will be held by the Israeli side in Jerusalem, Israel.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other agencies, including the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, the Royal Thai Police, the National Intelligence Agency, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Immigration Bureau, the Tourist Police Bureau, the Office of the Narcotics Control Board, the Department of Provincial Administration, the Thai Customs Department, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The meeting was focused on various issues including Protecting and safeguarding the rights and interests of Thai workers in Israel, strengthening comprehensive bilateral cooperation on consular affairs and facilitating people-to-people exchange.
