เมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2569 นายอำนาจ พละพลีวัลย์ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนอินโดนีเซีย นำโดยนายอะดิติโอ อะกุง นูโกรโฮ รองผู้อำนวยการคณะผู้แทน สำนักงานความร่วมมือตรวจคนเข้าเมืองและคณะผู้แทน กระทรวงตรวจคนเข้าเมืองและราชทัณฑ์ ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงานการให้บริการทำหนังสือเดินทาง ณ สำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางชั่วคราว ปทุมวัน

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับงานบริการทำหนังสือเดินทาง การเชื่อมฐานข้อมูลทะเบียนราษฎร มาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัยทางไซเบอร์ และเทคโนโลยีด้านระบบหนังสือเดินทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์

จากนั้น รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุลนำคณะเยี่ยมชมกระบวนการรับคำร้องหนังสือเดินทาง อาทิ การตรวจสอบเอกสาร การรับบัตรคิว กระบวนการทำรายการ การชำระเงินและการจัดส่งเล่ม พร้อมทั้งสาธิตการใช้เครื่องรับคำร้องขอหนังสือเดินทางแบบบริการตนเอง (Self-Kiosk) ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจเป็นอย่างมาก

On 20 October 2026, Mr. Amnat Phalapleewan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, welcomed an Indonesian delegation led by Mr. Adityo Agung Nugroho, Deputy Director For Representation Affairs, Directorate of Immigration Cooperation and Representation Affairs, Ministry of Immigration and Corrections, on a study visit at the Pathum Wan Passport office.

During the visit, both sides exchanged views and information on passport application procedures, the integration of passport and national registration databases, cybersecurity measures, and e-passport technology. Following the discussion, the Deputy Director-General led the delegation on a tour of the Passport Office, showcasing the end-to-end passport application process, including document verification, queue management, biometric enrollment, payment, and passport delivery.

A highlight of the visit was the demonstration of the self-enrollment kiosks, an innovative service that has proven particularly popular among passport applicants.
