เมื่อวันที่ 19 มีนาคม 2569 นายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุลเป็นประธานการประชุมเพื่อหารือมาตรการป้องกันการลักลอบนำกัญชาหรือสารเสพติดไปต่างประเทศ ร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง อาทิ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติด (ป.ป.ส.) กองบัญชาการตำรวจปราบปรามยาเสพติด (บช.ปส.) กรมศุลกากร การท่าอากาศยานแห่งประเทศไทย (ทอท.) กรมการแพทย์แผนไทยและการแพทย์ทางเลือก กระทรวงสาธารณสุข สำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทย และสายการบินต่าง ๆ อาทิ Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Thai VietJet, Nok Air, Thai AirAsia และ Thai Lion Air เพื่อร่วมกันป้องกันและสกัดกั้นการลักลอบนำกัญชาหรือสารเสพติดไปต่างประเทศ
ที่ประชุมมีมติให้ร่วมกันดำเนินมาตรการต่างๆ ได้แก่ 1) จัดทำสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ร่วมกัน 2) ดำเนินมาตรการสกัดกั้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง 3) เพิ่มความเข้มงวดในการสุ่มตรวจสัมภาระในท่าอากาศยานและการขนส่งทางอากาศ 4) เสริมความร่วมมือในการตรวจพัสดุภัณฑ์ 5) สนับสนุนการปรับปรุงมาตรการและกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องให้เหมาะสมยิ่งขึ้น และ 6) กระชับความร่วมมือระหว่างสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติของไทยกับสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติในประเทศเป้าหมายเรื่องการปราบปรามยาเสพติด
ทั้งนี้ การประชุมสะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือของทุกภาคส่วน รวมถึงอุตสาหกรรมการบินในการป้องกันและปราบปรามการลักลอบนำยาเสพติดออกนอกประเทศอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นต่อภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศ
Department of Consular Affairs Chairs organizes a meeting on measures to prevent the smuggling of cannabis or narcotics abroad
On 19 March 2026,Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, chaired a meeting of measures to prevent the smuggling of cannabis or narcotics abroad. The meeting was attended by relevant agencies, including the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, the Customs Department, Airports of Thailand (AOT), the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), and major airlines such as Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Thai VietJet, Nok Air, Thai AirAsia, and Thai Lion Air.
The meeting was concluded by implementation of the following measures: 1) developing joint public relations campaigns, 2) maintaining ongoing enforcement and interception efforts, 3) enhancing random inspections of passenger luggage and air cargo, 4) strengthening cooperation in parcel inspections 5) supporting improvement of relevant measures and legislation to increase effectiveness and 6) strengthening cooperation between the Royal Thai Police and National Police Agencies in other targeted countries in drug suppression.
The meeting highlighted the commitment of all sectors, including the aviation industry, to collaborate in preventing and suppressing the smuggling of narcotics. These efforts aim to enhance operational effectiveness and reinforce Thailand’s international status.
