เมื่อวันที่ 19 มีนาคม 2569 กรมการกงสุลให้การต้อนรับคณะนักการทูต จำนวน 20 คน ที่เดินทางมาอบรมที่ประเทศไทยในหลักสูตร “The 2026 Knowledge of Diplomacy (KOD) for Versatile Diplomats” ระหว่างวันที่ 16 - 21 มีนาคม 2569 จัดโดยสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการ
ในโอกาสนี้ นางวรพรรณี ดำรงมณี รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล พร้อมด้วยเลขานุการกรมและผู้อำนวยการกองได้บรรยายสรุปถึงภาพรวมและพัฒนาการที่สำคัญของงานบริการของกรมการกงสุลให้นักการทูตฯ ได้รับทราบ นอกจากนี้ นักการทูตฯ ยังได้มีโอกาสดูงานพื้นที่ให้บริการทำหนังสือเดินทาง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ตู้ Kiosk ทำหนังสือเดินทางที่ประชาชนสามารถทำหนังสือเดินทางด้วยตนเองอย่างสะดวกและเลือกรูปได้ โดยไม่มีการจำกัดเวลา กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตอันดี

On 19 March 2026, the Department of Consular Affairs welcomed a delegation of 20 diplomats from The 2026 KOD Participants who participated in the “The 2026 Knowledge of Diplomacy (KOD) for Versatile Diplomats” course during 16 - 21 March 2026. The course is co-organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA).
Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, also with the Secretary of the Department and all relevent Division, briefed the delegates on the overview and developments of the Department’s e-services. The delegates also had an opportunity to observe passport kiosks, where people can conveniently self-record their photo and biometrics information for passport renewal with no time limit. The diplomatic training course indeed promotes cordial diplomatic relations.
