เมื่อวันที่ 3 พฤศจิกายน 2568 คณะกรมการกงสุลได้เข้าพบนาย Angus Monroe ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายการดำเนินงานและนโยบายการกงสุล กระทรวงการต่างประเทศแคนาดา และนาย Michal Khan นักวิเคราะห์อาวุโส แผนกความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ Elections Canada ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศแคนาดา เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และแนวปฏิบัติในการจัดการเลือกตั้งและการออกเสียงประชามตินอกราชอาณาจักรของทั้งสองฝ่าย  ฝ่ายแคนาดารับทราบถึงกำหนดจัดการเลือกตั้งและการออกเสียงประชามตินอกราชอาณาจักรของไทยในช่วงต้นปี 2569 โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา และสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ อย่างไม่เป็นทางการด้วย

On 3 November 2025, the delegation from the Department of Consular Affairs met with Mr. Angus Monroe, Director of Consular Policy and Program Operations, Global Affairs Canada, and Mr. Michal Khan, Senior Analyst, International, Provincial and Territorial Relations Division, Elections Canada, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Canada. Both sides exchanged practices, regulations, and procedures regarding overseas ballot and referendum processes. The Canadian authorities also took note on forthcoming overseas election and referendum which will be conducted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa and the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver approximately early next year.
