เมื่อวันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2568 นายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล พร้อมด้วยนางจิตรฉวี อรุณรุ่งเลิศ นักการทูตชำนาญการพิเศษ และข้าราชการกองตรวจลงตราและเอกสารเดินทางคนต่างด้าว กรมการกงสุล เข้าร่วมประชุมหารือเรื่องการออกวีซ่าพิเศษสำหรับโครงการพัฒนาสนามบินอู่ตะเภาและเมืองการบินภาคตะวันออก และมาตรการสนับสนุนการลงทุนในเขตส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจพิเศษ : เมืองการบินภาคตะวันออก เพื่อดึงดูดนักลงทุนต่างชาติที่มีศักยภาพสูง ซึ่งจะช่วยยกระดับประเทศ และขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทย ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่สำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) โดยมีนายก่อกิจ ด่านชัยวิจิตร รองเลขาธิการคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก เป็นประธาน และมีผู้แทนจาก มท. สตม. สกพอ. และบริษัท อู่ตะเภา อินเตอร์แนชั่นแนล เอวิเอชั่น จำกัด เข้าร่วมด้วย
DDG of Dept. of Consular Affairs attended EECa Visa Review Meeting for Eastern Aviation City Development Project
On 12 December 2025, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, together with Mrs. Chitrachawee Aroonrunglert, Minister-Counsellor and official from the Visa and Travel Documents Division, Department of Consular Affairs, attended a meeting to discuss on EECa Visa for U-Tapao Airport and Eastern Aviation City Development Project in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) - Eastern Aviation City Special Economic Promotion Zone as well as its facilitation measures to attract high-potential foreign investors, enhance national development, and boost the Thai economy. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Korkij Danchaivichit, Deputy Secretary General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee, and participated by representatives from the Ministry of Interior, Immigration Bureau, EECO, and U-Tapao International Aviation Co., Ltd.
